If there is a particular topic or information you would like to see on our website, send us the information through the contact form at the bottom of each page and it will be reviewed by the Board for consideration.
Stop Sign
The stop sign has been placed at the intersection of Morgan Drive and Concord Drive for everyone’s safety. It has been noted that many vehicles are not appropriately stopping at this intersection. For everyone’s safety, please abide by the rules of the road.
Trash Reminder
Please do not place trash on the curb before 6PM the night before Trash Day (currently Wednesday). Please remove trash receptacles by dark the evening of Trash Day. Trash needs to be contained in sealed bags or a covered can - otherwise we end up with a huge mess, especially on windy days, and the critters will come regularly to have a feast! Please refer to Canton Township's website for Refuse Collection Rules.
When the following holidays fall on a Monday through Thursday, Trash Day is delayed until Thursday. The holidays are: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Remember to have your trash out for pickup by 6:30 AM on Trash Day as the schedule for GFL seems to constantly change from early morning to late afternoon.
Several times over the last few months, GFL failed to pick up either the trash or the recyclables. If this occurs, you need to immediately notify and report this to the Canton Township Public Works at 734-397-1011. The association and the management company have no control over trash pickup. Therefore, complaints to the association or management company simply slow down the process of possibly having GFL come out again the same day.
Selling or Renting Your Condo?
If a unit is for sale, the advertising is limited to ONE window sign. Exterior brochure holders or multiple signs are not allowed, with the exception of "Open House" signs. Please make sure your realtor is aware of these rules.
You are required to provide new owners and renters with a copy of the Bylaws/Rules & Regulations, so that they are aware of the Association’s rules.
If you are renting your unit, you are required to submit a copy of the lease to the Board of Directors through the management company for approval prior to it being signed to ensure that wording required by Article VI of the Bylaws is contained in the lease. Owners must then provide a copy of the signed lease within 10 days to the managing agent for the Board of Directors with contact information for the renter and owner. This is needed in the event an emergency arises and it is necessary to obtain entry into the condo.
Mail Delivery Problems
Many residents have voiced problems with mail delivery, either not getting mail or getting someone else's mail. You can do two things to possibly solve any problems. One, sign up for notifications at Informed Delivery. You will receive an email each day showing you a picture of each item you can expect to receive. Second, if you don't receive an item that you know you should have, file a complaint with the US Postal Service. Report this every time this happens and keep a record of it. If you don't complain, don't expect service to improve. If enough complaints are filed, we could submit them to the Inspector General of the Post Office.
